One of the world’s largest hotel companies, owns, operates, franchises and manages 1,100+ hotels and resorts in 93 countries.
Directed all aspects of the design and construction of the $60M flagship W Times Square, on schedule & budget.
• Managed all consultants, contracts, permits, site operations and tenant coordination with project management team. • Undertook comprehensive close out audit after opening including re-negotiating all add services from GC.
Rockwell Group 1997 - 2001 Associate
New York's leading designers of unique immersive environments for hospitality, culture, education and healthcare.
Directed and mentored the dozen project managers, architects and designers within my studio, responsible for budgets, monitoring schedules, client liaison, presentations, manpower, overhead and profitability.
• Initiated business development and marketing efforts, led project feasibility studies, identified business leads firm-wide and managed staffing, billing and cash flow. Achieved 15% annual revenue growth and added $2 million to bottom line.
• Accountable to clients for $100 million of contracts on multiple projects simultaneously in Las Vegas, Florida, Hong Kong and Europe.
New York Palace Hotel 1995 – 1997 Owner's Representative
Purchased by the Brunei Investment Authority, Amedeo Hotel Group acting as asset managers for the Sultan of Brunei.
Key member of the management team responsible for the complete renovation of the 55 story, 950 room, 5* Star Hotel.
• Completed the $120 million renovation on budget in less than two years while the Hotel remained open.
• Created an inventory management system, managing procurement of $40 million FF&E/OS&E package. Cut project overhead by 25%.

Established successful architectural and interior design practice in London focused on offices, retail and hospitality projects.
• Repositioned London County Courthouse as a restaurant venue and designed $20 million hotel for Malaysian Government.
• Created design, graphics and branding for optical chain, completing 12 stores and flagship installations within Harrods and Selfridges.
